There's literally nothing stopping you right now from hosting a websocket in C# on your processor and connecting to it from a PWA hosted on the processor (or anywhere else). The only reason you should need to pay Crestron a licensing fee to use their implementation of xPanel is because you don't know those languages well enough to write your own.
